Jae did an absolutely amazing job highlighting and cutting my hair. It was my first time getting my hair highlighted and I was not very sure at first how it would turn out. I showed Jae a few pictures and he gave very clear advice on how each option would suit me. When cutting my hair, he set very good expectation on what he was going to do. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I was very excited to go on my holiday with my new hairstyle.

Worst hair cut I've received... Allen didn't pay attention to what I wanted, and absolutely messed up my hair, I didn't think it was possible for a professional that charged $60 to mess up my fringe that badly. In the middle of my hair cut he stopped and cut someone else's hair, and made me wait which I found quite disrespectful and unprofessional. I would upload a picture of the hair cut but it's too embarrassing. Anyways, definitely not going back there, and would never recommend this place, at least if you do try this place I recommend to stay away from Allen.

Had a very pleasant experience at Takashi & Team, the staff is incredibly friendly, professional and responsive. Mia is an excellent hairstylist who listened to my concerns and requests and would ask me about my thoughts about the haircut before finishing it off. Even though I was unable to properly express how I wanted my hair to look like, Mia was able to understand what I was going for and gave me a wonderful haircut that I was very satisfied with. She even kindly took the time to explain to me how to blow dry my hair. Mia was extremely patient and communicative with me the entire process and gave exemplary service. Thank you team!

I have been a customer at this hair salon since some years ago. Staffs are friendly, kind and so polite! They all nice, but if I had to make a choice, it would be “Chika”! She has plenty of experience in this industry, also she’s skilful and an entertaining person. I always enjoy talking with her. Moreover I’ve been felt very satisfied with her work :) I went to so many Japanese hair salon in Sydney, Given those choices, I still like Takeshi & Team the best. Hair Type: Asian, chest-length straight black hair. I got a digital perm (loose at the top with tight curls at the bottom) and a fringe. The whole procedure took a little over 4 hours and it turned out amazing. I don't remember the stylist's name but she had short blonde hair. I'd definitely recommend her! This will definitely be my new go-to salon, can't beat their quality and price.

I asked to dye my hair blonde. To make a long story short, they burnt my scalp and as a result it got infected. A lump formed and it lasted for 3 weeks. I couldn't even lie down on it without it hurting. I should have realised something was wrong once they put the toner in and my scalp felt like it was on fire... one of the worst pains I've felt in my life. They refused to to compensate me and they didn't respond to fair trading after I took it up with them. NEVER come here. I went through nearly a month of hell because of their work and they didn't have the decency to try and resolve it with me. The first photo was when I didn't know what was happening, but I could feel a clump where my scalp was hurting. I tried to get an explanation on what it could be to which they told me "it looks like glue". In fact, it was PUS because of the burn. You can tell HOW UNPROFESSIONAL this place is. Any hairdresser should be able to truthfully and immediately tell what happened. The last two photos is of my infected scalp, with the green/yellow spot being the pus which is what the "glue" actually was. Really, you don't want to be investing your money into this place. I provided them with enough evidence, yet they stopped replying to me when I requested a refund. Shameful.
